Important Update Regarding Mounjaro

Eli Lilly, the manufacturer of Mounjaro, has confirmed that the UK list price will increase from 1 September 2025. While the medicine itself remains unchanged, this adjustment will directly affect what providers charge across the UK.

Why Is the Price Increasing?

When Mounjaro first launched in the UK, it was priced lower to support early access for patients. Eli Lilly has now confirmed that, from September, UK pricing will be brought into line with other European countries.

Since Mounjaro can only be purchased directly from the manufacturer, any change in the wholesale cost has a knock-on effect on all providers and, ultimately, what patients pay.
