Voltarol Joint & Back Pain 2.32% Gel
Topical anti-inflammatory gel with diclofenac diethylammonium 2.32% w/w for targeted relief of
joint, back and muscle pain. Penetrates to reduce inflammation at the source. For human use only.
What It’s For
- Short-term relief of muscle and joint pain (sprains, strains, sports injuries)
- Back pain, soft-tissue rheumatism
This “Joint & Back” 2.32% gel is the twice-daily version intended for short courses.
Active & Excipients
Active (per 100g): Diclofenac diethylammonium 2.32 g (≡ 2.0 g diclofenac sodium).
Selected excipients: Propylene glycol, isopropyl alcohol, carbomers, liquid paraffin, macrogol cetostearyl ether, oleyl alcohol, cocoyl caprylocaprate, BHT. See pack leaflet for full list.
Directions for Use
- Adults and adolescents 14+: Apply twice daily (morning and evening).
- How much: Massage in a thin layer — about the size of a 1p–2p coin per area (≈2–4 g).
- Maximum: Do not exceed 8 g per day (≈ 16–32 cm of gel).
- Duration: Use for up to 7 days (adults). If pain persists or worsens, seek medical advice. Adolescents (14–18): seek advice if needed for more than 7 days.
- Wash hands after application (unless treating hands). Do not use on broken/ infected skin or near eyes/mouth.
Do Not Use If
- You are allergic to diclofenac, aspirin/other NSAIDs, or any ingredient
