Active & Inactive Ingredients

Active (per 5 ml): Ibuprofen 100 mg

Inactive ingredients include: glycerol, citric acid, sodium citrate,
sodium chloride, polysorbate 80, xanthan gum, domiphen bromide, saccharin sodium,
strawberry flavour, purified water, and maltitol syrup.

Contains: maltitol (sugar-free), sodium ≈ 10 mg per 5 ml. No colourants.

What It’s For

• Relieves fever and discomfort from colds and flu
• Soothes teething and toothache pain
• Eases headache, earache, and sore throat
• Reduces pain from minor aches, sprains, and immunisations

Directions for Use

Shake bottle well before use. Always use the supplied dosing syringe or spoon for accuracy.

Dosage (based on child’s age and weight)

• 3–6 months (over 5 kg): 2.5 ml up to 3 times daily (max 7.5 ml in 24 h)
• 6–12 months: 2.5 ml 3–4 times daily (max 10 ml/24 h)
• 1–3 years: 5 ml 3 times daily (max 15 ml/24 h)
• 4–6 years: 7.5 ml 3 times daily (max 22.5 ml/24 h)
• 7–9 years: 10 ml 3 times daily (max 30 ml/24 h)
• 10–12 years: 15 ml 3 times daily (max 45 ml/24 h)

Dosing interval: leave 6–8 hours between doses.
Do not exceed: 30 mg/kg/day ibuprofen or stated daily maximum.

Under 3 months: only on doctor’s advice.

Precautions & Warnings

• For oral use in children 3 months + (over 5 kg) only.
• Do not use if your child is allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin, or other NSAIDs.
• Do not give to children with stomach ulcer, severe kidney, heart, or liver problems,
  or a history of allergic reactions to NSAIDs.
• Seek medical advice if the child has asthma, chickenpox, dehydration, or is taking
  other medicines (e.g. ibuprofen, aspirin, steroids, anticoagulants).
• Stop and contact a doctor if symptoms worsen, persist > 3 days, or new symptoms appear.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children. Store below 25 °C.

Possible Side Effects

• Most children tolerate ibuprofen well.
• Possible: mild stomach upset, heartburn, nausea, or diarrhoea.
• Rare: allergic rash, wheezing, or swelling — stop use and seek urgent medical help.
• Very rare: serious skin or kidney reactions — seek medical advice if your child becomes unwell or unusually drowsy.
